The Federation identified this stream segment behind Annapolis Harbour Center as the most polluted stream in the South River. Almost 80% of its drainage area is paved. Biologists start to see harm to wildlife at 5%.  In 2016 the Federation restored the stream, hoping to reduce the amount of pollution reaching the tidal portions of Church Creek. In its first two years after restoration, the fish population (eastern mosquito fish and eels) went from a total of 14 to 284 fish! Click the restoration project icon for more information.
